LEGAL REPRESENTATION

We provide free, high-quality legal representation to children in family court, especially in cases involving parental conflict or abuse. We advocate for the best interests of the child and work to ensure their safety, well-being, and rights are protected.

FAMILIES IN TRANSITION

Our mediation program pairs families with a team of a gender-balanced attorney and a mental health professional to help parents resolve conflicts and make decisions in a way that is healthiest for their children.

THE CHILDREN’S LAW LINE

The Children’s Law Line offers free legal advice for families facing challenges in Connecticut’s family court system. Our easy-to-access helpline provides guidance on child custody, visitation, child support, and other family law issues.

ADVOCACY & TRAINING

We advocate for systemic change to improve the safety and well-being of children in the legal system. We also provide training to legal and mental health professionals to help them better serve children and families in crisis.
