Support Our Work
Your gift helps children's voices be heard in family court.
$25 pays for one hour of advising callers on our Law Line, a hotline offering free legal advice.
$50 pays for a home visit, our first chance to meet and get to know our child client.
$100 pays for a morning in court, negotiating or making an argument in the child's best interest.
$500 pays for the mediation of six families in the Families in Transition program. FIT is committed to improving co-parenting to keep families (and children) out of court.
We can't do this important work without you. Thank you for believing in the strength of families and for being part of ours. We are committed to protecting the childhood of vulnerable kids and count on your continued support.
If you have any questions about donating to CLC, click here to contact Abby Woodhouse, our Marketing and Development Associate.
Set up a recurring payment each month – as little as $5 per month will total $60 per year, enough to pay for a CLC attorney to make a home visit to our child client and better assess family challenges and conflicts. Click here to set up a recurring gift.
Double your gift to the Children’s Law Center! Does your place of employment have a Matching Gift Program? Please check with your Human Resources department and the donation you make to CLC may be matched dollar for dollar!
If your place of employment is part of United Way’s Workplace Charitable Giving campaign, please consider the Children’s Law Center as you fill out the form. Your donation can be designated to CLC by writing in “Children’s Law Center, Hartford, CT” on the pledge form.
Leave a Legacy
Through estate planning and a bequest, your legacy can live on to support the needs of future generations of impoverished children in family court. If you have any questions about making a gift to CLC in your will, contact Abby at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stuck on what to buy that special someone for a birthday, holiday, or anniversary present? Consider making a gift to The Children's Law Center in their honor! We'll send a card to your honorary recipient to let them know about your gift. Contact Abby at email@example.com if you're interested.
